MIGUEL ANGEL ORIBE (1968)

1988-90 He studied Art and Design at the former School of Art and Design of San Sebastián C.E.D. and began sculpting in stone.
He completed his artistic training at the ARTELEKU Aesthetic Research Center for 6 years.

1994 It is part of the collective "Intenational Art" composed of young artists from both sides of the border.
- In May he installed the sculpture "Ametsa" (dream) in the park Gure Ametza of Hernani (Gipuzkoa).
- In November he installed the sculpture "Place of Dreams" in San Sebastián, acquired by Gureak company.

1995 In May he installed the sculpture "Dantzari" at the entrance of Lasarte (Gipuzkoa).

1998 Winner of the competition for the installation of a sculpture in homage to emigrants in Hernani (Gipuzkoa) with the work
"Gizona" realized in ASTEARTE workshops in Asteasu (Gipuzkoa)

2001 Selected in the "ITINERARY sculptural by ALAVA" competition organized by the Caja Vital Kutxa Foundation.
- In November 2004 he installed the sculpture "GURPIL" in homage to the world of cycling in the gardens of the company GURPIL, Itziar (Deba, Gipuzkoa), realized in ASTEARTE workshops of Asteasu (Gipuzkoa).

2005 Performance of the sculpture ”Corona ACT” in homage to the rowers, for the national rowing league ACT.zkoa).

2006 Installation of the sculpture ”Tennis” at the Real Club de Tenis in San Sebastián.

2007 Installation of the sculptures "Besoak" and "Besarkada" in the gardens of the Hotel Nautilus in Lanzarote.

2008 Installation of the sculpture "Group" in the Hotel Nautilus of Lanzarote.

2009 Realization of the EuskoTren Trophy” for the Women’s National Rowing League.

2013 Installation of the sculpture ”Gurutze” (Cruz) at the Goyeneche Foundation in San Sebastián.

2016 Installation of the sculpture "COLUMNA Nº 3" (Homenaje a Cesar Manrique) at the sculptural park created by Nautilus Lanzarote in Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote).

2017 Installation of seven sculptureses at "Villa Nautilus" in the Hotel Nautilus of Lanzarote.

2017 Installation of the sculpture "BRUNET" in the gardens of the park Brunet-Enea of Lasarte-Oria (Gipuzkoa).
